About Us

Founded by Ernest Collinson in 1962. The company has grown from small beginnings manufacturing silos for the farming industry to the diverse company it is today under the leadership of Roger Collinson.

This year we celebrate our 50th year in business; now in its 3rd generation with Daniel and Sam Collinson taking the roles of Joint Managing Directors with Roger Collinson as Chairman.

At our six acre facility in the countryside ten miles north of Preston in Lancashire we manufacture, supply and install bulk storage silos, feed handling and animal feeding systems to the farming industry both in the UK and overseas, plus specialist products for industrial markets such as silos, conveyors and inventory control for Biomass schemes.

Our construction division works in collaboration with Best-Hall Oy from Finland whom we represent throughout the U.K & Ireland to design/install specialist steel-framed tensioned membrane structures for various sectors including Sports, Warehousing, Waste & Recycling plants, Bulk storage and Aircraft Hangars.
We also construct traditional buildings for the sports sector. Construction projects are undertaken on either an installed structure only basis or as a complete design and build package incorporating site investigations, planning application, building regulations approvals through to site works of civils, build, fit-out, M&E, renewables and also any of our ancillary products such as sports flooring, electrical systems, lighting and rebound walls.

Our latest product to be launched is BIGDOOR™ - hydraulic doors and walls for use within Agricultural, Aviation and Industrial buildings.

Many people in our team have been with the company for more than 25 years with some in excess of 40 years, therefore we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our employees both long serving as well as those who joined us more recently during our expansion for their hard work and dedication to our aim to provide all our customers with first rate service and product/project quality.

More importantly we would like to thank our customers, some of whom have been trading with us as long as we have been in business, for your continued custom.
We look forward with enthusiasm to the next 50 years to see what new projects and products we can develop whilst building upon our existing business relationships.
