  • Architectural Technician / Technologist

    Job Description

    Our Construction Design Team are looking for a motivated team player to join the busy department.

    Successful candidates will:

    • Work as part of a manufacturing and construction design team
    • Meet with clients and their agents to agree project briefs
    • Act as lead designer on specified projects
    • Act as Principal Designer in terms of CDM2015 on specified projects
    • Responsible for design-stage risk assessments
    • Produce stages RIBA / BIM stages 0-7 drawings, specs and schedules
    • Comply with and administer the adopted document control system
    • Provide general technical support to the sales and projects teams
    • Administer planning and building regulations applications
    • Produce detailed crane lift plans (training provided)
    • Liaise with LPAs, statutory undertakers and external consultants

  • Cleaner (Temporary Contract)

    Job Description

    Successful candidates will:

    • Ensure all areas of the offices block are kept clean and tidy
    • Empty all waste bins at regular intervals
    • Clean and tidy various areas of the works
    • Ensure office/works toilet areas are kept clean at all times and are fully equipped with personal hygiene equipment and materials
    • Maintain cleaning equipment and report faults as necessary
    • Maintain stock of cleaning materials and complete request for materials as required
    • Help clean and maintain cooking equipment, utensils, cleaning equipment, and the general appearance of the canteen and kitchen facilities
    • Help provide support for outside Company requirements as and when requested, i.e. Company functions, Presentations, Exhibitions
    • Carefully dispose of Company sensitive waste
    • Maintain the utmost respect for discretion and confidentiality
  • Production Planner

    Job Description

    We are looking for a Production Planner to join our team.

    Successfull candidates will:

    • The primary contact between Production departments, Design and Sales with regard to manufacturing requirements within the factory
    • Planning and preparing production schedules for manufacture and drawing up master schedules to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
    • Liaising with production managers, purchasing, team leaders and maintenance to ensure all resources (workers, materials, and machinery) will be available to meet production plans
    • Planning and scheduling workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
    • Conferring with department supervisors to determine status of production work and updating production schedules.
    • Producing Daily / weekly production schedules and communicating to all stakeholders and internal customers through email and regular meetings
    • Expediting operations that delay schedules and update schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
    • Working with Production managers to establish operational efficiency programmes using lean manufacturing techniques
    • Liaising with Costings department to maintain accuracy of data provided
    • Ensure all production Documentation is correctly completed and records kept where appropriate in line with ISO requirements

     

  • Warehouse Office Co-ordinator - Part Time

    Job Description

    We are looking for a Warehouse Office Co-ordinator to join our team.

    Successfull candidates will:

    • Responsible for the smooth running of the Warehouse Office processes including the delegation of team workloads to ensure company's targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirements.
    • Monitor and maintain stock accuracy
    • Ensure stock is protected and packaged correctly to maintain product quality and safety during handling and storage.
    • Responsible for the Customer Return Management / Warranty system
    • Maintain FIFO stock rotation.
    • Manage customer counter activities including pickups, spares and returns
    • Ensure picking and dispatch of goods is accurate and adequately protected for delivery
    • Maintain stock levels by raising orders on the factory and with suppliers
    • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures to ensure inventory accuracy, maximise picking productivity and storage density.
    • Support the General Operations Manager in the implementation and Maintenance of 5S principles and safety systems in the Warehouse.
    • Ensure quality procedures and quality targets are strictly adhered to.
    • Support cross-functional projects within area of responsibility.
    • Manage holiday requests for the Warehouse Team to ensuring staffing levels are adequate for workload
    • Establish, maintain and develop effective working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
