In line with new, more powerful pneumatic blowing systems on wagons, all Silo³ filler pipes are now heavy-duty specification as standard.
The gentle sweeping bend over the roof is designed to reduce pellet damage, preserving feed integrity from delivery to discharge.
Every Silo³ is built using smooth-walled steel, a hallmark of Collinson engineering since 1962.
Unlike corrugated silos, smooth walls ensure true mass flow, where feed discharges uniformly down the cone during discharge.
This delivers:

Better hygiene and reduced contamination risk
More accurate inventory control
The AutoVent closes automatically during filling, diverting dust-laden air away from the roof and down the filler pipe.
This prevents feed dust collecting on the roof and helps deter birds and vermin, potential carriers of diseases such as avian flu.
For ultimate protection, install a Cyclone Dust Collector to remove airborne dust completely.
